(July 2006) posted on Mon Jul 17, 2006

3M Commercial Graphics Div., St. Paul, MN, and Minneapolis, MN-based North Light Color now offer their Vehicle Graphic Installer Training Seminar North Light's Atlanta Distribution and Training Center. The classes began in May, with subsequent classes scheduled for August.
The eight-hour course is designed to teach attendees how to perform successful wall and vehicle-graphic installations and reduce the number of wall- and vehicle-installation-related failures. Attendees also will learn how to work with complex curves on vehicle wraps, deal with rivets and other undulations, and properly clean and prepare surfaces to ensure good application.

The companies say the target audience includes owners of Mimaki JV3, Mutoh Falcon II Outdoor, Roland SOLJET Pro II EX Series, Seiko 64S, ColorSpan DisplayMaker 72SI printers, and other solvent printers. The course is not intended to replace the 3M Installer classes held in St. Paul, MN. The course also is not related to UASG Certification. Attendees have the opportunity to attend the 3M Installer class and apply for UASG Certification. North Light Color is located at 6600 Bass Lake Rd., Minneapolis, MN 55428, 866-922-4700, Web: www.northlightcolor.com.
