The Paradigm II integrates screen and inkjet processes.
The Paradigm II digital add-on station from Kornit Digital (www.kornit.com) allows garment printers to combine the cost benefits of screen printing with the photorealistic capabilities of inkjet to produce unique multimedia prints. Designed to be integrated with existing carousel and oval presses, the Paradigm II features eight Spectra Dimatix Polaris printheads, a 15.5 x 19.5-in. max. print area, and output resolution up to 600 dpi. It uses Kornit’s NeoPigment water-based inks, which are compatible with discharge inks and reportedly provide Oeko-Tex 100, GOTS, and AATCC certification. A bulk ink-delivery system is standard; an integrated humidity system is optional. The Paradigm II can print on cottons, Lycra, silk, viscose, leather, denim, and a variety of other fabrics, and has a top print speed of 200 garment/hr.
