Roland DGA
The R-Wear line from Roland DGA (www.rolanddga.com) just grew larger with the addition of HeatSoft, a heat-transfer material for decorated apparel. It combines Roland’s ESM-HTM2 heat-transfer media with PGM-PTM polyester transfer mask to deliver what Roland describes as vibrant color, fine details, and superior bonding to cotton and cotton blends. The 1.7-mil, synthetic fabric features an inkjet-receptive coating that’s formulated to support full-color, high-resolution printing with optimum opacity and white point. The 3-mil polyester transfer mask features a heat-resistant additive that’s formulated for low to medium tack and to allow printers to lift the graphic from its liner without removing ink from the printed surface.
