Hop Industries’ Hop-Syn TO is an opaque, synthetic paper designed for applications that require resistance to extreme temperatures, tearing, and UV. The paper features a smooth, matte finish and additional whitening agents, designed to produce 99% opacity and prevent reverse-side images under direct sunlight. The paper combines polypropylene and inorganic fillers, which allows it to withstand temperatures from -60° to 220°F (-51° to 104.4°C) without distortion. Hop says TO’s flexibility can help reduce creases, curls, and wrinkles when being printed and fabricated. The paper is 100% recyclable, and Hop says the substrate’s finish supports sharp images and vivid colors. TO is compatible with screen, UV inkjet, offset, and flexo printing. Hop-Syn TO is available in 0.008 and 0.010 gauges and in various rolls widths and sheet sizes. Hop Industries Corp., 1251 Valley Brook Ave., PO Box 188, Lyndhurst, NJ 07071, 800-524-0757, Web: www.hopindustries.com.
