The Alta99 is a new substrate cutter from Fletcher-Terry. The automated unit enables users to start the cutting process with the push of a button. A lead-screw drive mechanism powers the Alta99 and is designed for a consistent, smooth cutting with Fletcher’s double-blade knife and cutting wheel. The Alta99 also contains a two-position laser sight for printed graphics. Fletcher-Terry says the Alta99 cuts 4 x 8-ft (1.2 x 2.4-m) sheets of  0.16-in. (4-mm) Dibond, 0.080-in. (2-mm) aluminum, up to 0.40-in. (10-mm) PVC, and up to 0.50-in. (12.7-mm) corrugated plastic and foamboard.
