Epson 4000

We output film positives for screenprint on an Epson Stylus Pro 4000. We used to use a Espon 3000. The 3000 printed at 720x720dpi 85LPI. The 4000 prints at 1440x1440dpi 85LPI. We cannot hold this finer dot. How can we get the 4000 to print at 720x720?
