Is it ok to mix a small amount of union ultrasoft ink with maxopake? Has anyone tried this? I'm thinking a tiny amount of red to get a light pink... let me know if you anyone has experience with this. thanks

Joel,
If your mixing less than 10% into the Maxo-pake system, don't worry about it. The Maxo-pake system is so overloaded with pigment it has a tendency to crock and crack over time anyway, they put too little vehicle into the system to seal it in the first place. The main thing is not to put to much reducer, a heavy, stiff body is almost as important to opacity as pigment load. Combined with a thick, smooth stencil, you should be able to get a lot of "pop" out of that system. Thomas Dunn
