Safelights?

I recently purchased some QTX to make my first screens. The instructions that came with it said to use it only under Yellow Safelight conditions. I went to the store and got a yellow flood light. Will this work or is there something unique about safelights?

The amount of UV in the range that exposes this emulsion coming off regular flourescents or incadecent bulbs is minimal. Spend your money on something else, and see what you are doing when coating or exposing.

Store your coated screens in a light safe area though, as prolonged exposure to ambient light will eventually wreck them.
