How do I color seperate my images for silk screening?

Posted on Wed, 14 Jul 2004 at 10:56

Sorry if this may be a rhetorical question but I just acquired a silk screen printer and I have no idea how to seperate my image onto the transparencies. I have CorelDraw and was told to do a CTRL-K but nothing happens. Can anyone please xplain the process for me?

THANK YOU SO MUCH!

There's always rubylith...we too are having a problem with a new Ep & Corel but me thinks sometimes we want it to be harder than it has to be. I believe the problem is not in the software or the printer but with the person telling it what to do. Don't get offended, Corel is like a different language for me so I'm not putting anyone with this trouble down. I just wonder why the Master hasn't come forward with the trick move. Like put your left hand over your face, say ahhhh, and hit....? I think we are entertaining the Masters with our helplessness. I wish us all good fortune and if you find out please share! Our computer operator is new to Corel & could sure use & appreciate some help. I keep thinking one day these Masters will also be older or new to a job and some new technology will blow them away & they will plead for help. Life is a circle....can be of hope or dispair for all.
