Printing on metal

Posted on Tue, 3 Aug 2004 at 16:14

We sell silverplated giftware and would like to be able to imprint them with our customer's logos, for example. I've checked with a few local screen printers who seem to do mostly T-shirts and they have consistently said the same thing--that due to the metal, it's beyond their expertise to do screen printing on such items. My question is, what is the best method for personalizing these items (besides engraving)? Where would I find a contract printer who could do them?
