Screenprinting on Powdercoated Metal Panels

Posted on Mon, 30 Jun 2008 at 16:36

I typically deal in black powdercoated aluminum panels that I custom build for the recording industry. I usually engrave and paint-fill custom labeling, etc but have needed silk screening on this surface often. I've had bad luck getting white paint to not be easily scratched off or cleaned off after drying. I have products that have been professionaly silk screened and are very durable.

Any thoughts as to what paint/ink/combo would be the durable solution for this. It is being used in an indoor environment but should be scratch resistant

THANKS!

bcigraphics says: We used to use ADE Epoxy from NazDar. Worked fine, but if you make a Faux Pas, It really doesn't wash off without ruining the powder coat. posted on: Fri, 10/10/2008 - 1:28pm
