Posted on Wed, 4 Aug 2004 at 6:31

Hi all,
can anyone out there help me?
I was givern a sample t-shirt by a customer that has an ink on it that cracks when pulled or crumpled up just like a true distredded print.
It cracks much more than if the ink was under cured and has a very good wash fastness.
when i ask me reps in the uk all i get is the ink is in development fat use they are...
any help in pointing me in the right direction as in inks or the black art would be appreciated.

Phil, thanks for your reply.

I am still strugling with this vintage ink.
This is apparently the correct name for it but my wilflex rep claims he cannot find it in the UK or the states.
I got a sample of vintage base from rutland but it does'nt crack like the sample my client has given me.
I have also been told there is a vintage white - is this an underbase or just base with pigment?.

Also the sample i have has not been printed with a distressd image - the image is solid.

Thanks in advance,

Ben
