The printer is equipped with GerberCAT Cationic inks and Cold Fire Cure system, and features the capability to print on flat substrates up to 5 x 10 ft (1.5 x 3.1 m) wide and 1 in. (25.4 mm) thick to a 64-in. (1625-mm) full-bleed capacity. The Solara Ion is expected to be available by May of this year.
