Avery Sheeting Approved for BC Highway Signage
December 13, 2007
Avery Dennison Graphics and Reflective Products Div., Painesville, OH, announced that Omni-View traffic sign sheeting material surpassed specifications and testing from the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation, allowing it to be sold and used for highway and traffic signage in British Columbia. Omni-View is described as a super-high-performance, durable, microprismatic, retroreflective material suitable for high-speed applications, such as speed limit, warning, and guide signs where long-distance brightness ensures sign conspicuity and legibility. The material reportedly can be used at any rotation, while still maintaining the same reflective performance, and reduces the rainbow effect by 83% during daytime hours.
