Clemson U. Holds Printed Electronics Workshop

The workshop will include a hands-on component.

On June 7-9, 2011, Clemson University will hold a two-day workshop on printed electronics lead by Professor Bruce Kahn, Ph.D. The workshop will include a hands-on component where participants will be able to print and take home functional single and multilayer components. The workshop will also have presentations mixed with the hands-on activities and lots of industry networking opportunities. It will feature high-volume gravure printing and optical metrology in addition to the basic skills involved in producing printed electronics.

Attendees include, but are not limited to, individuals who already are involved in printing and who want to expand their skill levels. Participants should plan to leave with an overview of the printing processes needed for producing printed electronics, basic electronics, and key application areas such as antennas, batteries, displays, and improved skills in an area of printing with developing importance. The number of participants is limited. For more information or to register, go to: www.tinyurl.com/PrintedElectronics101.
