Web-to-print, augmented reality, and QR codes among the Internet-enabled tools discussed.
DRUPA has released its “drupa Global Insights” report, discussing how Internet-enabled tools such as web-to-print, variable data printing, interactive printing such as augmented reality and QR codes, and smart technologies such as printed electronics will impact most areas of the printing industry.
Available through Messe Dusseldorf, the report is based on an on-line survey conducted in the spring of 2014 with about 1100 international key executives from the printing industry. Their responses offer a comprehensive, international overview of all relevant markets. The report also contains contributions from 240 decision-makers who provide practical examples of their experiences dealing with these latest trends. Also included are comparisons of the data with other relevant studies.
