MacDermid Autotype reports that it has reduced the yellowness of it Autoflex AP, now a 0.010-in.-thick (0.25-mm) gloss film. It was developed to meet the changing demands of the appliance industry, while ensuring the printing of brilliant whites with significantly reduced iridescence. Autoflex AP is an embossable, hard-coated polyester film that is engineered for high optical clarity and resistance to solvents and abrasions. The film’s second surface facilitates adhesion to solvent or UV screen-printing inks. Autoflex AP is available in gloss and anti-glare finishes and in 5-, 7-, and 10-mil thicknesses.
