National Graphics Awarded Patent

National Graphics, Inc., Brookfield, WI, received US Patent Number 7,083,340 B2 titled “Systematic Lenticular Lens Selection in a Digital Printing Environment.” The company received the patent for a method and an apparatus used to determine a lenticular lens resolution for digital press printing. The selection process is designed to account for variations in digital press machine resolutions, lenticular lens resolution variations, and various screening algorithms. The process is said to yield a high-quality, commercial-grade, digitally output lenticular image that can be used in a variety of applications, including containers, packages, and labels.
