RIP Support for HP Printers
Wasatch Computer Technology
August 20, 2007
Wasatch’s SoftRIP now supports the HP Designjet Z6100 series of inkjet printers. This update marks the inclusion of all Z-series devices. SoftRIP offers 16-bit color rendering, tools for color management, direct-to-layout workflows, and the Smart Nesting function. “SoftRIP maintains more data on every color point that other RIPS,” says Jay Griffin, executive VP at Wasatch. “With 16-bit color, a high-quality device like the HP Z6100 will print high-definition output that matches the original source image with incredible clarity.
