Software for Graphics Repair and Tracing
Graphical Systems USA
March 10, 2008
Two new versions of Imagaro Z (standard and professional) software are now available from Graphical Systems USA. Imagaro Z is designed to reduce the amount of time needed to convert low-quality images into printable designs. The software allows users to resize bitmaps, and its Sensedge vecotrization technology enables the program to auto trace raster images. Graphical Systems says Imagaro Z produces smooth lines with few nodes, allows specific lines and paths of an object to be selected and re-vectorized with different settings, and offers a clean-up tool to adjust smoothness and remove excess nodes on selected objects. Imagaro Z also features editing tools and built-in FontEye technology, which identifies text in digital photos, scanned graphics, or logos and replaces it with text created either from a matching font or a similar font in the user database. User databases can be built from any TrueType, Type 1, or Open Type font collection. Imagaro Z professional includes an expanded font-search database of more than 45,000 fonts from major libraries. It also can identify fonts on a curved or arched path. The Imagaro Z programs are compatible with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, CorelDRAW, FlexiSign, and other graphics and signmaking software. Its ClikLink feature allows users to transfer images between Imagaro Z and CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop. System compatibility includes Mac OSX 10.2 or higher or Windows 98, Me, 2000, XP, or Vista.
