Toyo Ink America Merges

The company says the merging of the two companies will bolster Toyo Ink Group’s competitiveness in North America.

Toyo Ink Holdings Co., Ltd. announced that Toyo Ink America, LLC (U.S.), the group’s consolidated subsidiary, has absorbed another consolidated subsidiary, Toyo Ink Mfg. America, LLC. The company says the merging of the two companies will reinforce the management base and bolster Toyo Ink Group’s competitiveness in North America through the coordination of functions. The move also aims to strengthen its ability to make proposals to customers and accelerate Toyo Ink Group’s business expansion in the U.S., according to the company. The merger took effect on January 1, 2013. It was described as an absorption-type merger, with Toyo Ink America, LLC, as the surviving company and with Toyo Ink Mfg America dissolving.
